Aldous little bluestem is a cultivar released in 1966 with the cooperation of the Kansas Agricultural Experiment Station and the Agricultural Research Service. It is a composite of progeny of accessions collected from the Flint Hills Prairie south of Manhattan, Kansas in 1935. Aldous little bluestem is a tall, leafy, vigorous, and medium late maturing little bluestem.
