    Bluestem

    The term bluestem is commonly used to describe grasses from the Andropogon, Schizachrium, Bothriochloa, and Dichanthium genuses. Dicanthium and Bothriochloa species are usually referred to as old world bluestems as most commercially available Bothriochloa species, and all Dicanthium species, originate outside of North America.
